2024 Freeman, Robinson, Perkins Scholarship Application

The Freeman, Robinson, Perkins Scholarship is awarded in honor of three friends that graduated from City College High School in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Perkins loved jazz music and was passionate about creating opportunities for underserved youth to improve their social, economic, and intellectual status in life.

This scholarship is awarded to a City College High School graduating senior who’s talented in music or vocal arts.

Number of Scholarships: One (1) scholarship will be awarded in May 2024.
Applications must be submitted by: May 1, 2024, 11:59 PM.
Scholarship amount: $1,000

Scholarship Eligibility:
*** Must be an African American, graduating high school senior (2024-2025 school year)
*** Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
*** Submission of an unofficial high school transcript
*** All transcripts must be submitted using the grading policy/GPA scale currently used by their school
*** Student must attend City College High School
*** Acceptance letter from college/university (copy must be enclosed with application)
*** Demonstrate action within the community or school

Awards will be announced in May 2024.
