2024 Jewel Scholarship Application
The Jewel Scholarship is named after seven (7) men who inspire RTL Foundation's mission and awarded to college bound African American High School Students across Baltimore City or County.
The scholarship is one small step towards closing the education opportunity gap by providing financial assistance to high school seniors that demonstrate leadership, academic excellence and community service.
Three (3) scholarships will be awarded in May 2024.
Applications must be submitted by: May 1, 2024, 11:59 PM.
Scholarship amount: $2,000
Jewel Scholarship Eligibility:
*** Must be an African American, graduating high school senior (2023-2024 school year)
*** Have a minimum GPA of 2.5
*** Submission of an unofficial high school transcript
*** All transcripts must be submitted using the grading policy/GPA scale currently used by their school
*** Student must reside and/or attend a high school in Baltimore City or Baltimore County
*** Acceptance letter from college/university (copy must be enclosed with application)
*** Demonstrate action within the community or school

Awards will be announced in May 2024. Scholars will be required to attend a scholarship awards ceremony.
